Tri Albion Challenge Visits Forge

The West Bromwich Albion blind football team set off from The Hawthorns on Monday in snowy conditions to continue the Tri Albion Challenge whereby they attempt to walk to every school in Sandwell (119 schools). They visited us on Tuesday, a guard of honour welcomed them in and after swift refreshments they were off to the next school.

Foundation Director, Rob Lake: “This is a huge year for the Foundation. Our disability programme is getting bigger and better reaching more people playing sports such as Blind football and Powerchair football. The more people we reach the higher the cost however as Powerchairs, in particular, cost around £4,000 each. After the success of last year’s walk from Liverpool to The Hawthorns, we are looking to surpass last year with the Tri Albion Challenge in 2015.”

Please sponsor them by texting “TRIA15 £3” to 70070 to donate £3.
