Olympics

What a great summer of sport! I managed to spend a great deal of it shouting at the TV, contributing to our athletes running faster and performing brilliantly, do I qualify for a medal?
It is a pity that our football and cricket teams could not perform to the same level.
How do we bottle up the feelings and lessons learned from the Olympics and use it to drive up education standards?
Not by giving every student two hours of PE each day, but possibly by learning from David Brailsford, the Head of British Cycling.
His mantra of the ‘Aggregation of Marginal Gains’ can surely be utilised in education, by looking at each process, lesson etc and improving them all by 1%.
