No Pens Day Evaluation

Back in October 2014 we took part in No Pens Day Wednesday. It was a huge success. The Communication Trust have been working hard to evaluate the event and now have two key ways of highlighting just how impactful it’s been for the 3,600+ schools who have signed up. One of the ways the day was evaluated was through a case study and we were delighted to have been featured. You can download our case study  here: Case study – Ormiston Forge Academy

I won’t spoil the story for you but over 1300 students and 200 staff took part on the day. All lessons and activities had a focus on speaking and listening skills. It was a great example of the power of the Forge family and making something happen. You’ll read that the impact of the day has had lasting consequences. I’m delighted and proud that we continue to lead the way in these initiatives and develop skills of our young people.
