Dart Donation

A Cradley Heath business has supported us to the tune of £2,374 for the purchase of 12 Chromebooks for English students.

Dart Products Limited, a manufacturer of high quality foodservice packaging solutions, recently awarded Ormiston Forge Academy the funds. Dart is also an international leader in polystyrene foam recycling.

Head of English at Forge, Dave Jenks said: “We are incredibly grateful for this generous donation from Dart. These Chromebooks will make a difference to the way our students are able to access materials; they will make a considerable difference to the lives of young people.”

Greg Kettle, a shift supervisor at Dart and alumnus of Ormiston Forge Academy when it was Heathfield School, presented the cheque along with his son Dylan, who is a current year 7 student at Forge. He was joined by Nicola Worsfield from Dart, Dave Jenks from Forge, and Principal Andrew Burns.
